The constraints that the pandemic brought on gave us an opportunity to evaluate where our time, energy and resources are spent.  While continuing to offer adoptions we are emphasizing spay/neuter and transport.  In an effort to save as many dogs and cats as possible we have partnered with a number of rescues and shelters in northern states where they do not have the homeless and stray population that we are experiencing in Houston.  Many of these partners have approved adopters waiting for a new furry friend.  With the help of a generous donor we purchased a transport van and have successfully transported ~200 dogs/cats since 1Q21.
