“Officially” founded January 1st, 2014, Tomten Farm and Sanctuary was a private organization for over two years. In May of 2016, we went public with all the paperwork and registrations that goes with it. We consulted with nonprofit professionals, created bylaws, appointed a Board of Directors, became an approved 501(c)(3) and relocated to Grafton Country, New Hampshire. We’re thrilled to be living in a real farming community with friendly neighbors (people and cows), more than seven times our previous acreage, a notebook full of ambitious plans and, of course, all our beloved Tomten animals who still cannot believe their good fortune.
